What to Put On Your Elevra Page (If You Want Voters to Trust You)

By Virginia Liang • 8/27/2025

What if a single page could turn a curious voter into a committed supporter?

Elevra allows you to do that by putting all of your most important campaign information all in one place. Your Elevra page is the first stop for voters who want to learn about you. If it’s clean, focused, and credible, it builds trust fast. If it’s cluttered or confusing, they’ll click away and might not come back.

Here’s how to make your page work for you:

  1. Create a Profile That Tells Your Story

When voters click your name, they should instantly get a sense of your personality and purpose.
What to include in your “About” section:

  • Who you are: your name, role in the community, and what you’re running for
  • Your connection to the area: why you care about this community and what ties you here
  • Your core mission: the main reason you’re running, in one or two sentences

💡 Example: “I’m Jordan Lee, a public school science teacher and lifelong resident of Brookfield. I’m running for City Council to improve after-school programs, fix dangerous intersections, and make sure every neighborhood has a voice at City Hall.”

  1. Share Your Top Issues - Clearly and Briefly

Most voters will spend less than two minutes on your page. Make your priorities easy to understand by listing 3–4 main issues, each with a short and straightforward description.

Instead of: “Implement fiscally responsible infrastructure revitalization projects”
Try: “Fix our roads and sidewalks without raising property taxes.”

  1. Highlight Key Achievements With Bullet Points

Make your wins stand out by listing them in bullet form - this way, voters can see them at a glance.

💡 Example:

  • Led initiative to bring free meal programs to seniors
  • Reinstated local climate and sustainability goals
  • Secured $50,000 in funding for park renovations
  1. Add Additional Forms of Contact

Don’t make voters hunt for your other contact info - attach links for an email address and/or social media accounts.

  1. Keep Your Tone Conversational

Write as though you’re speaking directly to a neighbor. Use “you” and “we” instead of overly formal language. The more approachable you sound, the more likely people are to connect with you.

  1. Choose a Confident Profile Photo

Your headshot should be clear, well-lit, and reflect your personality. Aim for a friendly, professional image - smiling, with an open posture.

  1. Add Endorsements!

Endorsements add instant credibility. Highlight support from community leaders, organizations, or neighbors who can vouch for your commitment and character.

Your Elevra page isn’t just a profile - it’s your first handshake with voters. Make it count by keeping it personal, clear, and easy to act on.
